Phenomena that may be easy to be mistaken for machine defects
About the phenomenon confused wth a machne defect, check and cope wth t
accordng to the followng table.
Phenomenon
Power does not
come on.
Nether sounds
nor pctures are
outputted.
Sound does not
come out.
No pctures are
dsplayed.

Cases not involving a machine defect
The electrical power cord is not plugged in.
Correctly connect the power cord.
The main power source has been interrupted during
operation such as by a power outage (blackout), etc.
Please dsconnect the power plug from the power outlet,
and allow the projector to cool down at least 10 mnutes,
then turn the power on agan.
Either there is no lamp and/or lamp cover, or either
of these has not been properly fixed.
Please turn the power off and dsconnect the power plug from
the power outlet, and allow the projector to cool down at least
45 minutes. After the projector has sufficiently cooled down,
please make confirmation of the attachment state of the lamp
and lamp cover, and then turn the power on agan.
The signal cables are not correctly connected.
Correctly connect the connecton cables.
Signal source does not correctly work.
Correctly set up the sgnal source devce by referrng to the
manual of the source devce.
The input changeover settings are mismatched.
Select the nput sgnal, and correct the settngs.
The signal cables are not correctly connected.
Correctly connect the audo cables.
The MUTE function is working.
Restore the sound pressng the MUTE or VOLUME button
on the remote control.
The volume is adjusted to an extremely low level.
Adjust the volume to a hgher level usng the menu functon
or the remote control.
The AUDIO setting is not correct.
Correctly set the AUDIO n the SETUP menu.
The lens cover is attached.
Remove the lens cover.
The signal cables are not correctly connected.
Correctly connect the connecton cables.
