SERVICE AND WARRANTY INFORMATION
Battery Replacement
Not# : the calculator cannot hotd data In its users data memones or mode
registers when the batteries are removed or become discharged
The calculator uses 2 ot any ot the following silver-owde batteries for up to
2000 hours ol operation
Duracetl MS76, Union Carbide (Eveready) 357.
Panasonic WL-14. Toshiba G-13. Hay-0-Vac RW-42, or the equivalent
1 Turn the calculator off Place a small screwdriver, paper clip, or other
instrument into the slot and gently lift the battery cover
2 Remove the discharged batteries and install new ones as shown Be sure
the + symbol on the left battery is lacing down (towards the front of the
calculator), be sure that the ♦ symbol on the right battery ts facing up
(towards the back of the calculator)
Caution : Make sure that the battery contacts are always placed below the
two batteries
3 Replace the cover top edge lira!, and then gantty press until the bottom
ot the cover snaps into place
4 Press

Not# : II an error occurs during the key sequence shown above, press
C&C to clear the error condition, and then continue the key sequence
If the calculator keyboard locks up at any time, remove the batteries
reinsert them, and repeat the key sequence
Caution : dispose ol old batteries property Do not incinerate them or leave
them where a child can find them
