when speaker
option is DELL
P3424WEB in
Sound setting
interface
No sound from
monitor's speaker
when in Teams/
Zoom call.
Pressing the
Volume up/Volume
down buttons
on the monitor
does not increase
or decrease the
volume on the OS.
Possible solutions
• Increase the speaker volume of DELL
P3424WEB to maximum in the Sound setting
interface
• Press the Volume Up button to increase the
speaker volume of DELL P3424WEB
• If you select DELL P3424WEB audio path,
please ensure that the Echo Cancelling
Speakerphone volume is set to medium or
high. Else, the DELL P3424WEB maximum
volume may sound soft because it is limited
by the Echo Cancelling Speakerphone
volume. For example, when the Echo
Cancelling Speakerphone volume is at 50%,
and the DELL P3424WEB volume is set to
100% will have the same sound level as the
former.
• Select the same audio path in the Teams/
Zoom application as the operating system's
Sound setting.
• Select 'Echo Cancelling Speakerphone' audio
path on the operating system's Sound setting
of your laptop.
• Select 'Echo Cancelling Speakerphone' audio
path on the UC application.
• Connect the USB-C to C cable or USB-A to
B cable.
