1 - GENERAL
Functions to protect the heat pump can be enabled
using the controller. However, since the controller
is not certified as a safety device, safety measures 
in case of failure of or damage to the heat pump
(e.g. additional external switching of the safety
devices in use) must comply with local regulations.
Standing or climbing on the heat pump can damage
various components and is not permitted.
The refrigerant lines and heat pump components must not be
damaged in any way.
The insulation of heat pump lines and heat exchangers, as well
as the casing, must not be removed or damaged.
Never operate any valves on the machine!
To safeguard the intended use, no temperature sensors, pressure
sensors or cables must be removed or damaged. In the event of
damage, please contact CARRIER.
Never poke any objects into parts of the heat pump or insert or
reconnect anything.
Observe and comply with the details in the safety datasheets
supplied!
If leakages occur, immediately stop operation of the system and
contact CARRIER.
During operation and subsequent stops, the heat
pump connections are hot. Risk of burns on contact
with heat pump connections!
Observe safety and environmental requirements
(for example, see: EN 378).

1.6 - Unauthorised modifications

Unauthorised modifications and production of spare parts
jeopardise the safety of the system/personnel and invalidate the
manufacturer's  declaration  of  conformity.  Modifications  to  the 
product are only permissible following consultation with the
manufacturer. For spare parts, please contact CARRIER. Use of
other parts voids the liability for any consequential losses.
