Speed Dialing

It is possible to quickly dial up to 4
numbers. These numbers are configured
through the Cisco CallManager.

Adjusting the LCD Contrast

Press the Menu key.

Contrast. Press the Select key.
Selecting Ringer Type

Alternately press the option # associated
with Settings.

the Ring Type.
Press the Select key.

to highlight a Ringer sound.
Making Calls from the Call Lists
SoundPoint IP 500CS maintains a list
of calls you miss, receive, or place.
You can use these lists to locate numbers
you want to redial. You can also use the
Viewing and Dialing Missed Calls

Press the Call Lists key.

2 Press the or scroll keys to highlight
Missed Calls. Press the Select key. A list
of missed calls is displayed.

Press the or scroll keys to highlight
a specific call. If desired, click the Info
soft key to view information about that
call e.g. when it was missed. Press the
Dial soft key to dial the selected number.
To make a speed dial call , press the Speed
Dial key. Select a speed dial entry from the
screen by pressing the corresponding digit
key between 1 and 4.

Press the Vol up or down
to increase or decrease the contrast
of the display.

Press the Menu key to return to
the idle display.
Tip: The LCD contrast can only be
adjusted when not in a call.
Press the Play soft key to listen

to the sound.
Repeat these steps until you have
selected the Ringer sound you want.
Press the Select soft key to select

that ring. The selected Ringer Type
is marked by an asterisk on the display.

Press the Menu key to return to the
idle display or press the Back soft key
to step back through the previous menu.
corporate directory (if configured by the
administrator) to find and call co-workers
in your company.
You might need to use the EditDial soft
key to add digits to the front of the
number. For example, if the call was
from an outside, long-distance caller,
you might need to add the digits "91"
to the front of the number.
