Basic Operation
@ Operation of CD DIRECT playback
The digital sound of Compact Disc features an ideal
reproduction characteristics, and the sound quality provided
by CD can be reproduced with least degradation by means
of the CD direct playback function.
| Press the CD DIRECT key.

® CD DIRECT indicator lights up.
2 Play the CD player.
PLAY/PAUSE
@ The CD DIRECT selection is given priority to any other source
being selected by the input select key.
To cancel the CD DIRECT playback function
Press the CD DIRECT key again, or select the input select
key.
LINE STRAIGHT CD DIRECT
® CD DIRECT indicator goes off.

3 Play the input source.
To cancel the LINE STRAIGHT playback
Press the LINE STRAIGHT key again.
LINE STRAIGHT CD DIRECT
@ LINE STRAIGHT indicator goes off.
During CD DIRECT or LINE STRAIGHT playback, the tone controls do not function.
