Pairing to your smart device
Scan the QR code and download the Braun Family Care™ app .
Follow the in-app instructions to pair your ThermoScan® 7+ connect to your smart device .
1 . Make sure the device is turned off . Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns blue
and the Bluetooth icon and the letters "bt" flash . Flashing will continue until the device
connects to the app .
2 . When the thermometer successfully pairs to your smart device, the screen will turn green and
the Bluetooth icon and letters "bt" will stop flashing . The thermometer will turn off after
3 seconds .
3 . If there is a problem pairing to your smart device, the thermometer will show the error screen .
How to use your Braun ThermoScan®
1 . Remove the thermometer from the protective case .
2 . Push the Power button
During an internal self-check, the display shows all segments . Then the last temperature taken
will be displayed for 5 seconds .
3 . The lens filter indicator will blink to signal one is needed .
To achieve accurate measurements, make sure a new, clean lens filter is
in place before each measurement .
Attach a new lens filter by pushing the thermometer probe straight into
the lens filter inside the box and then pulling out .
Note: The Braun ThermoScan® will not work unless a lens filter
is attached .
