Receiving broadcasts

| 1 Set your amplifier's input selector to TUNER.

Select the broadcast band.
The bands are switched as follows
every time the
[BAND]
key is pressed.

3 Set the tuner to auto tuning mode.
Check that the indicator is lit.
Press the AUTO / MANUAL key.

Press the key to select the auto (AUTO lighted) or manual (not lighted) mode.
4 Turn the ACTIVE RECEPTION ON.
The tuner automatically sets the optimum conditions
Lights.
for receiving FM broadcasts. (See page 19.)

For each pressing of the 50/100kHz key,

the FM frequency of the CHANNEL STEP
TUNING /PTY SEL
(interval) is switched 50kHz-100kHz.
This is convenient for responding to dif-
ferent frequencies
(transmitted
radio
waves)
corresponding
to a particular
country or region.
Set to TUNING mode.
Turn gently to the left or right.
@ To tune in a higher frequency, gently turn the TUNING/PTY SEL knob to the right.
@ To tune in a lower frequency, gently turn the TUNING/PTY SEL knob to the left.
@ The tuner automatically scans the frequencies in sequence and stops at the frequency of the next broadcast station.
