Playing a Tape
Playback Procedure
Regular Play
1. Press the Eject & button to open the cassette holder.

2. Place a tape in the cassette holder and close it gently.
3. Ifthe source was recorded with Dolby noise reduction, turn the Dolby NR switch on, so that you can

4. Press the <4 or > button.
> button: the tape winds from left to right.
4 button: the tape winds from right to left.
5. To stop playing, press the Stop m button. To remove the tape, press the Eject & button.
Note: The PAUSE button only applies to deck B.
Changing the Playback Direction
Fast Left and Fast Right
Q While the tape is stopped, press the Fast Left <4 button and the tape will wind rapidly onto the left side
of the cassette without playing.
(While the tape is stopped, press the Fast Right ®
button and the tape will wind rapidly onto the right
side of the cassette without playing.

Press either the Fast Left <4 or Fast Right button >> in the opposite direction from the tape direction
indicated on the Display.
