. To change the mode, press the T/L button. Every time it is pressed, the access
mode changes. "L" or "T" will be displayed on the lower left side of the screen
((B) area). (However, neither of them will not displayed in the TOP broadcast-
ing.)
LIST mode:
You can select a page which was pre-registered and stored, using
colour select button. If you have pages to see constantly, it will be
convenient to use this mode.
In the LIST mode, the letter "L" is displayed on the lower left side. (As
for the method of registration, see page 40.)
TOP mode:
Data (page) is entered automatically. The colour select button enables
you to control selection promptly. The TOP mode includes the TOP
time when the TOP (Table Of Page) broadcasting is carried out and the
NON-TOP time when the WST (World Standard Teletext) or the FLOF
(Full Level One Future) is aired.
During the TOP time, nothing will appear on the lower left of the
screen. While display of the letter "T" will appear on the lower left of
the screen during the NON-TOP time. There are two ways of selection
in the TOP time.

Three ways of selecting pages are available as follows;

Direct selection is possible by entering 3-digit numbers.
Example: To select Page "196", press "1", "9", then "6".

TOP mode (TOP is selected):
"SEITE xxx WIRD NICHT GESENDET" is displayed, and the page preced-
ing that not being broadcast (xxx) is displayed.
NON-TOP is set, or LIST mode is selected:
The selected page number keeps blinking.
@ Press the Colour select buttons.
In the LIST mode:
Four numbers (PAGE) displayed on the lower screen can be selected.
The colour select buttons correspond with each one of four numbers.
Those numbers can be pre-registered and stored by STORE function.
In the TOP mode:
It takes about a minute to distinguish between TOP and NON-TOP. During
this time, "TOP AUFFRISCHUNG, BITTE WARTEN" is displayed on the screen
status line, and the numberic keys will not work.
"NON-TOP time"
Four numbers (PAGE) displayed on the lower screen can be selected.
The colour select buttons correspond with each one of four numbers.
"TOP time"
The colour select mode and the direct select mode can be selecting by
the RESET button ( (>is) ).
Colour Select Mode:
The mark (<< >>) and the numbers (PAGE) or items displayed on the
lower screen can be selected. The colour select buttons correspond
with each number or mark, respectively.
