3 Planning of bodies
High-voltage battery of the eSprinter
⑴ NOTE
All of the specifications and warnings regarding the
high-voltage battery and high-voltage on-board elec-
trical system must be strictly observed, see chap-
ter 1.4 Operational safety (→ page 6).
The energy storage unit for the vehicle drive is a
high-voltage battery (lithium-ion with differing capac-
ities), see chapter 3.1 Vehicle and model designation
(→ page 16).
A 12 V battery supplies the remaining vehicle consum-
ers, see chapter 8.3 Battery (→ page 42) and 8.4
Interfaces and electric lines (→ page 44).

⑴ NOTE
No modifications of any kind are permissible to or
in the area of the high-voltage battery, to its mounts
on the underbody, or to any high-voltage on-board
electrical system components.

technical sales information, or you can reach out via

The high-voltage battery is arranged on the underside
in a similar way to an underbody trim and is secured on
the side to the longitudinal members of the substruc-
ture.
