Installation Requirements
Exhaust system requirements, continued

EXPLOSION HAZARD
+ The exhaust system should be Inspected and
Do not Install the dryer where gasoline or other

Although vertical orlentation of the exhaust system
Б acceptable, certain extenuating circumstances
could affect the performance of the dryer:

Only the ngid metal duct work should be used.
* Venting vertically through a roof may expose
tna exhaust system to down drafts causing an
Increase In vent restriction.

Running the exhaust system through an
uninsulated area may cause condensation and
faster accumulation of Int.
1. Installation MUST conform to current
Manufactured Home Construction & Safety
Standard, Title 24 CFA, Part 32-80 (formerly tha
Federal Standard Tor Mobile Home Construction
and Safety, Tite 24, HUD Part 280) or Standard
GABN/ACSA P240 MH.
2. Dryer MUST be exhausted outside (outdoors, not
beneath the тобе home) using metal ducting
that will not support combustion. Metal ducting
must be 4 Inches (10.16 cm) їп diameter with no
obstructions. Rigid metal duct Is prefered.
3. IT dryer I5 exhausted through the Toor and
area beneath the mablle home Is enclosed,
hardware store.
