[5] Variations of Writing Rhythm Patterns
1.
Selecting a Scale (Number of steps for each beat)
By
changing Scales, you can enjoy wider
variety of Rhythm Patterns.
1 Step ( 1 key)

Each time you press the Scale Button, the
number of steps for each beat will change
as shown below.

2. Setting Last Step

The
TR-909 allows you to freely change
the
number of steps in a Rhythm Pattern,
so even odd rhythm can be written.
[Operation]
While holding the Last Step Button, set
any
number you like by using the Main
Key s.
eThis Scale selection procedure should be
done after Step Write procedure
(5, or
Tap Write procedure ©. (That is during
the TR-909 running).
* Depending
on
the
Scale
currently
chosen,
the
tempo
of the
blinking
Indicator on the Main Keys will change.
(That is because all the Rhythms are in
tune
with
each other). Here, the last
step is automatically set
