Equipment needed for the Test:
*Two 1 liter beakers
* One glass thermometer

(D) Place both beakers on the center of the glass cook
plate.
Set the oven for High power and set two minutes.
Heat the water for exactly two minutes.
(E) When
the heating
is finished, again stir the water
with the thermometer and measure the temperature
rises as T2A and T2B.
(F) The average value (T2) of T2A and T2B is calcu-
lated as follows:
T2= T2A a
(G) Subtract T1 from T2.
This will give you the tem-
perature rise.
(H) The normal temperature rise for this model is 16°
to 20 F (8.9 to 11 C) at the ''High'' power selec-
tion.
