2. DISK PLAY
When the amplifiers PHONO switch is deprssed, the
function is set to PHONO, the turntable starts to oper-
ate and the PHONO
indicator flashes. When the sty-
lus makes contact with the disk, the amplifier's mut-
ing circuit is released, the indicator fights and disk
play begins.
The muting circuit does not function after the second
play when
the turntable
is set to the repeat play
mode.
The PHONO function is automatically selected
and the same operations result even when the turn-
table's START/CUT
button is depressed
or the ton-
earm is operated manually.
When TUNER
or AUX/TV switch on the amplifier is
selected, the turntable is automatically set to the cut
mode
and
it stops.
When
the amplifiers
PHONO
switch
is depressed
during disk play, the turntable
enters the cut mode and stops.
NOTE: Automatic cut and start are not possible using
the function switches on the amplifier when
using any one-touch compatible turntable ex-
cept a model provided with auto size and auto
speed selector systems.

3. TAPE-1
PLAY
When the amplifier's TAPE-1 switch is depressed, the
function
is set to TAPE-1
and the tape deck starts
operating.
The function of the amplifier is automati-
cally selected even when the tape deck's PLAY button
( > ) is depressed and the tape in the tape deck can
be played back.
When PHONO, TUNER or AUX/TV switch on the am-
plifier is selected,
the tape
deck
is automatically
stopped.
NOTES:
(1)If the tape deck is provided with an output volume
control, adjust it to the appropriate position.
(2)\When the TAPE-2
MONITOR
LOCK switch @ is
set at ON (2), the Tape COPY indicator @ lights
simultaneously.
(3)For about 5 seconds after the tape deck's power
has been switched on, the tape deck will automati-
cally not work even if operated.

4. AUX/TV PLAY
When the amplifiers AUX/TV switch is depressed, the
function is set to AUX/TV, and the turntable and tape
deck stop automatically.

5. AUTOMATIC
RECORDING OF DISKS
While keeping the PHONO switch is depresssed, now
depress the TAPE-1
switch at the same time. Then,
depress
only the TAPE-1
switch.
The PHONO
and
RECORDING
©) indicators flash. The turntable starts
to operate, the disk is played and, simultaneously, the
tape deck is set to the RECORDING mode. When re-
cording is continued in this manner and the disk fin-
ishes playing, the tape deck is automatically stopped
in the REC-PAUSE mode.
When recording the other
side of the disk, if the same
operation
is peformed
again, automatic recording is possible.
if the TUNER or AUX/TV switch is depressed, the RE-
CORDING
mode
is released.
(Except when the REC
OUT switch set to PHONO.)
NOTES:
(1)If the tape deck's STOP button is depressed while
the tone arm
is on the rest in the REC-PAUSE
mode, the turntable may start again.

(2)Automatic recording is not possible at the TAPE-2
jacks.
