1. PROGRAM FUNCTION
The program source following that now heard and the
two following that can be reserved.
When the PRO-
GRAM switch @) is depressed, all the Function indica-
tors © light. When the first program source is select-
ed by pressing of the Function switch @ , the Func-
tion indicator goes off and the program source is re-
served.
When
the PROGRAM
switch is depressed
again, the first reservation is confirmed and prepara-
tion is made simultaneously for the second program
reservation.
When the function is selected again by
pressing of the Function switch, the second reserva-
tion is confirmed
and the function
indicator corre-
sponding to the first selected program source to be
heard flashes one every 5 seconds to indicate the re-
servation mode.
About 60 minutes after the comple-
tion of the reservation, the next function is selected
automatically.
Shown right is an example when a tun-
er program is being heard and one AUX reservation
have been made.
NOTES:

(1)\Changes can be made in the reservation until the
confirming PROGRAM switch @) is depressed. Ho-
wever, confirmation is automatic when more than
5 seconds have elapsed.
(2)The TAPE-2
source cannot be reserved when the
TAPE-2 MONITOR LOCK switch @ is at ON (mm).
(3)To release the reservation, depress the PROGRAM
switch two more times in succession.
(4)When making only one reservation, first select the
function and then depress the PROGRAM
switch
twice in succession or wait until
5 seconds have
elapsed.

60 minutes after the program reservation, the re-

is selected

from the time the Function switch was depressed.

can be reserved while the PHONO
indicator is flashing.
2. TAPE COPYING (TAPE-1 > TAPE-2)
When TAPE-1 and TAPE-2 switches are depressed si-
multaneously, the TAPE-1
> 2 Tape COPY indicator
@ lights and tapes can now be copied. When the
TAPE-1
switch
is now
depressed,
the
sound
of
TAPE-1
during playback can be heard and when the
TAPE-2
switch
is depressed,
the sound
of TAPE-2
during recording can be monitored.
When other function switch is depressed during tape
copy, other program source can be heard while tape
copying.
To release the tape copy mode, depress one of REC
OUT switches @.
