Precautions
On safety
¢ Do not unnaturally bend or crimp the cord, and do not place heavy
objects
on it. Damage to the cord may result in fire or electric shock.
¢ If the cord or plug is damaged or gets frayed, do not continue to use
it. Contact your local Sony dealer for a replacement.
¢ To remove the AC power adaptor from an AC outlet, pull on the plug.
(Do not pull on the cord.)
¢ Do not attempt to disassemble
the cabinet. Refer servicing to
qualified personnel only.
¢ Do not put foreign objects into the unit.
¢ Do not put anything in the DC IN 12V (external power input) jack
except the supplied AC power adaptor.
¢ Do not drop the unit as a malfunction may result.

¢ The AAA (R03) batteries are used to backup the memory contents.
¢ Operate the unit only on 12V DC. Use the AC power adaptor
supplied
with the unit. Do not use any other AC power adaptors as
they may cause malfunction.
¢ Plug the unit into an AC outlet that has a continuous power supply.
Avoid outlets where power may be cut off.
Do not expose the unit to:
¢ heat sources such as radiators or air ducts.
