Use the following procedure to unpack the SECTEL 1500 (either model).

Open shipping container.

Remove terminal and all components.

Inspect all components for shipping damage.

Compare contents of shipping container with packing list

If items are missing or damaged, contact the Motorola customer ser¬
vice representative immediately.

The user may locate the SECTEL 1500 in any indoor environment with the
proper electrical and telephone interface. The terminal requires a3-prong,
grounded 115V/50-60 Hz or 230V/50-60 Hz electrical power source.

C A U T I O N
Never install telephone wiring during alightning storm or install telephone jacks in
wet locations unless the jack is specifically designed for wet location.
Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has
been disconnected at the network interface. Use caution when installing or modify¬
ing telephone lines.
