Lap Belt Only (Type 1) Installation

IMPORTANT:

Remove the tether.
1.
a. Extend the tether by
lifting on the tether
adjuster.
b. Unhook the tether
hook from the back
of the child restraint
and place it over the
seat back.

a. Locate the white
dashed line on
either side of the

b. Recline the seat
towards the white
dashed line.
IMPORTANT:
white dashed line is NOT
visible.
Place child restraint

into vehicle seat

NOTE: Ensure that no
more than 3" (7.5 cm) of
the base hangs over the
edge of the vehicle seat
