Lower Connectors Installation

Remove the lower
1.
connectors from the
storage compartment
(at the back of the
seat).
2. Pull the strap to full
length toward the
child's left side.
3. Recline the
unoccupied child
restraint to appropriate
position (see page
17).
4. Place child restraint
rear-facing on the
vehicle seat so that
the car seat base is
flat and parallel to the
vehicle seat.
NOTE: Ensure that no
more than 3" (7.5 cm)
of the base hangs over
the edge of the vehicle
seat (see page 12).
5. Open the ClickTight.
a. Lift the front cover
flap.
b. Squeeze the
ClickTight release
buttons.
6. Slide the lower
connector strap into
the rear-facing belt
paths.
Firmly press the lower
7.
connectors over
their adjacent lower
anchors.
NOTE: Verify that the
connectors are secure
and the strap is not
twisted.
