ONCE THE TIMER REC INDICATOR HAS LIT UP,
only the CHECK and TIMER REC ON/OFF functions
can be activated.
To release a timer-activated recording before It starts
Press TIMER REC ON/OFF. The memory will be retain-
ed. To reactivate the timer recording standby mode,
press TIMER REC ON/OFF again.
To stop timer recording momentarily
Press ti PAUSE.
To resume
recording,
press the button again within
about 8 minutes.
When the tape ends during timer recording
The tape stops but the tape will not be rewound to the
beginning.
To record the entire tape
Set the turn-off time to exactly the same time as the
turn-on time. Recording will continue to the end of the
tape, after which the recorder will be turned off.
To record a broadcast program at the same time every-
day
lf you want to make a recording for everyday at the
same time on the same channel for the same duration,
set the indicator so that all days of week appear.

TO CHECK THE TIMER SETTING
Press CHECK. Every time you press CHECK, successive
preset timer setttings will be displayed.

TO CHANGE A TIMER SETTING
1 Press CHECK
until the setting to be changed ap-
pears.
2 Press TIMER SET.
3 Press NEXT until the setting to be changed blinks.
4 Change the setting with the + or — button.
5 Press NEXT until the current time appears.
TO ERASE THE MEMORY
OF A PARTICULAR
PROGRAM POSITION
Press CHECK until the setting to be erased appears and
press CLEAR/RESET. The memory of the program will
be erased.
