Streaks will appear

in the Betascan
picture or Beta
SkipScan picture.
@ During Betascan, the Beta hi-fi indicator may
sometimes not light even when a Beta hi-fi recorded
tape is played back.
@ The pause, Betascan and Beta SkipScan functions
cannot be activated with the [I recorded tape.

AUTO PLAY/STOP
To play a tape back from the beginning of the tape after
rewinding .
Set the display to the clock mode.
Press p» PLAY while holding << REW depressed. After
the tape is completely rewound, it will automatically be
played back.
Clock display
To play a tape back from the point at which the tape
counter has been set to "00 00" after it has been re-
wound
Press CLOCK/COUNTER to change the display window
to the tape counter. Set the counter to "00 00" by press-
ing CLEAR/RESET at the point at which you wish to
begin playback.
Press pm PLAY while holding << REW depressed. The
tape will be played back automatically beginning at the
"00 00" point in the display window.

To stop the tape at the "00 00" point after it has been re-
wound
The same operation as the above except when the tape
is rewound, press m STOP while holding << REW
depressed.

Auto play and stop at the "00 00" point operates only
in the tape counter mode.
