Turn the release element with a T 40 Torx wrench two whole revolu-
tions counter-clockwise (left).
Tip: Pushing on the door at the same time makes it easier to turn the
emergency-release element.
The release element is opposite the door hinge at the same height
as the door handle (see diagram).
The release element must not be turned to the right.
This damages the door lock.
The resistance will noticeably decrease. When the release element
moves freely, the door is unlocked.
Tip: The release element does not need to be screwed back in.
The door can now be opened.
