4. Click the Query Modem button to display the response status of your modem.
You should see a dialog box similar to Figure 2-17.
If your modem is not responding, it may be due to a
conflict between the modem and another peripheral
device. To resolve the conflict, you must change the
settings of your modem.
See "Resolving Hardware Conflicts" on page B-4.
1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, double-click the Modems icon.
3. In the Modem Properties dialog box, select Standard Modem and then click the Remove
button.
4. Click the OK button.
5. Shut down your computer and then remove the modem.

2. In the Control Panel window, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, select Creative Modem Blaster
V.92 DE5621 and then click the Add/Remove button.
