1-2 Installing the Modem
1. Switch off your system and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Connect the Power adapter and the RS232 cable to the modem as shown in Figure 1-1.

3. Connect the Power adapter to a power outlet and the RS232 cable to the computer's serial
port.
4. Switch on your modem.
