If you make connections to another room, you can use the
remote control to select source components and to adjujst
the volume (etc.) output to the other room.

*KENWOOD
system control operations are only possible when the
remote control is set to the Room A operation mode. In order to avoid
malfunctions, do not make system control connections to audio com-
ponents which you plan on controlling with the Room B operations
described below.
Only sources connected to the analog AUDIO (L and R)
and VIDEO jacks can be output to ROOM B.

You can also purchase an additional remote control unit
for use specifically in ROOM B. Please consult your local
KENWOOD dealer for more information (U.S.A. only).
* Audio and video signals are output from the SECOND ROOM PRE
OUT jacks regardless of the setting of the SP. A/B and ROOM A/
B indicators.
AON
: Select to output sound to ROOM A from the speaker
connected to the SPEAKERS A terminals. This set-
ting allows you to enjoy surround playback in ROOM
A while outputting sound to ROOM B via the SEC-
OND ROOM
PRE OUT jacks.
BON
: Select to output sound to ROOM B via the speakers
connected to the SPEAKERS B terminals. Be sure to
turn off the subwoofer
in ROOM A if one is con-

nected.
A+B ON : Select to output sound to ROOM A from the speakers
connected to the SPEAKERS A terminals and output
sound to ROOM B from the speakers connected to
the SPEAKERS B terminals.
ROOM A automatically switches to stereo playback
(surround playback is not possible}.
A+B OFF : No sound from the speakers. Use this setting when
listening with headphones
