OVERRIDE
Sometimes OVERRIDE does not work. Why?
This feature only works when a call is in progress.
It does not work when the busy user:
l
has the handset off the cradle and is in the
process of making a call;
l
has a call on hold;
l
is on hold at another phone;
l
is in a hunt group (that is, a group with a
common extension number as well as their own
extension numbers);
l
has Executive Busy Override Security or Data
Security in his/her Class of Service;
l
is talking with someone who has Executive
Busy Override Security.
If the caller who is overridden hangs up, what happens to
the caller who interrupted the call?
When the overridden party hangs up, the
overriding party is disconnected from the call.
