Systolic or diastolic blood
pressure value is high or low.

abnormally high or low.

measured by the doctor.

No display appears even when
the On/Off Start button is pressed.
When the On/Off Start button was
pressed, all displays became lit
and then the display disappeared.
Instrument is broken.

Possible cause
■ Position of pressure cuff is low.
■ Pressure cuff is not wrapped correctly.
■ Position of pressure cuff is high.
■ You moved or talked while measurements
were being taken.

Posture is different for each measurement.

■ Blood pressure varies in response to minute
changes in your mental state, such as your
reaction to a doctor's presence.
■ Sit quietly for 4 to 5 minutes and then take
another measurement.See p. 13.
■ Batteries are exhausted.
■ Batteries are installed with the polarities
wrong.
