_ Do not leave the camera in the
following places
• In an extremely hot place

_ Oncleaning
Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe tile screen surface witll all LCD cleaning kit
(not supplied) to rcnlove fingerprints, dust, etc.
Cleaning the lens
Wipe tile lens with a sott ch)th to rcnlox e
fingerprinls, dusl, etc,
Cleaning the camera surface
Clean tile canlera surface with a soil cloth slightly
inoistened with water, then wipe tile SUllace with
a dry clotlL Do nol use the lollowing as they nlay
danlage the finish or lbe casing.
• Chenlical products sucll as thinner, benzine,
alcohol, disposable clolhs, insecl rcpellenl, or
in_clicide, elc.
• Do not [Ollch tile call/ela wilh tile above on yollr
band.
• Do not leave the camera ill contact with rubber
or vinyl Ibr a long tinle.
_ Onoperating temperatures
Your calncra is designed Ior use under the
tenlperamres between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and
104°F). (hi case of alkaline batteries, tile
tenlperamres are between 5°C and 40°C (41 °F
and 104°F),) Shooting in extremely cold or hot
places that exceed this range is not recommended.
_ Onmoisture condensation

Moisture condensation occurs easily
when:

How to prevent moisture condensation
When bringing tile calncra fl'om a coM place to a
win'In place, seal tile clunera ill a plastic bag and
allow it to adapt to condilions at tile new location

If moisture condensation occurs
Turn oil tile C_llllcra alKI wait abolll _lll hotlr lor the
n/oisture to e_,aporiae. Note that il you aaelnpt to
slloot with nloist ure rcnlaining inside tile ]ells, yOU
will be unable to record clear inlages,
_ Onthe internalrechargeable
battery
This camcra has an intcmal recllargeable battery
lor maintaining the date and time and other
seaings regardless of whetller lhe power is on or
oil,
This rechargeable battery is continually charged
as long as you are using tile camera. However, if
you use tile canlera for only sllort periods, it
discharges gradually, and if you do not use the
Calllera at all lor about one nlonl]l it beconles
completely discharged. In this case, be sure 1o
charge this rcchargeable baaery belorc using tile
canlera.
However, even if this rcchargeable baaery is not
chalged, you can still use the canlera as long as
you do not record tile date and lilne,
Charging method
hlsert charged batteries hi tile camera, or collnect
tile calnera to a wall outlet (wall socket) using the
AC Adaptor (not supplied), and leave tile camera
lor 24 hours or more with tile power off,
