The

stop switch
(l)
is
next
to
thc
th|ottle grip. In
the
RUN
posi-
tion,
thc

ngirrc
will
operate.
In
either OFF
positiorr, thc
cnginc
will
not
operate. This
switch is
intcnclccl
primarily
as
a
safety or
cnlcrgcncy
switch and should normally
re-
main
in
RUN.
NOTE:
*
I
f your mbtorcycle
is
stopped
with
the ig-
nition
switch
ON
and the
engine
stop
swich
OFF,
thc
headlight and taillight
will still
be on,
resulting
in
battery
discharge.
STARTER BUTTON
The starter
button
(2) is below the
engine
stop switch
(l).
When
the
starter
button
is
pressed
the
starter
motor
will
crank
the engine,
and
the
headlight
will
automatically
go
out, but
the
taillight
will
stay on.
