Check
Check
the
engine
oil
level
each
day
before
riding
the motorcycle.
The
level
must
be
maintained
between
the
upper
(2)
and lower (3)
level marks
on
the
dipstick
(l).
l.
Start the
engine
and
let
it
idle
for
2
-
3
minutes.
Make
sure
the red
oil
pressure
warning
light
goes
off.
If
the
light
re-
mains
on,
stop the
engine
immediately.

Stop
the engine
and
put
the
motorcycle
on its
center stand
on
level ground.
3.
Remove
the dipstick
(l),
wipe
it
clean,
and
insert the
dipstick
without
screwing
it
in,
Remove the
dipstick
and
check the
oil
level. The
oil
level should
be between
the upper
(2)
and lower
(3)
marks on
the
dipstick.
4.
If
required,
remove
the
filler
cap
(4),
add
the
specified
oil
up
to
the
upper
level
mark,
then
reinstall thc
filler
cap.
GAUTION:
Running
the engine
with
insu.fficient
oil
can
cause
serious engine damugt'.
