Since the voltage has been adjusted as shown
below upon

ment
from the factory, please check the third alphabetical! letter
of the serial number and refer to the following table to note the
characteristics of the model
in your possession:

As the colors of the wires may not correspond with the terminal
identification in your plug, proceed as follows:

brown
wire
to the
terminal
marked
"L"
or
colored brown or red.

Connect the blue wire to the terminal marked

For 13A plugs, conforming to BS1363, use a 3A fuse.

ABOUT THIS MANUAL
REAR
PANEL
CONNECTIONS
All connections to the rear panel should be made with the power
to the entire system turned off. To avoid confusion, connect one
cable at a time between the different components of your system.
This
is the
safest
way
to avoid
cross-connecting
channels
or
confusing signal inputs with outputs.
(D TUNER INPUTS
For connection of the Line outputs of your tuner.
(2) PHONO INPUTS
For connection
of a turntable
with a magnetic phono cartridge.
(8) CD/AUX INPUTS
For connections
of any
high
level signal source
such as a tape
player, TV or Video sound source.
(4) TAPE 1/VIDEO, TAPE 2/EQ JACKS
It is possible to connect two tape recorders or a graphic equalizer
to these jacks.
The IN jacks receive signals from the LINE OUT
jacks of the cassette deck, and the OUT jacks feed signals to the
LINE IN jacks of the cassette deck.

of the PM630 or PM730 amnifiier to
the RC430 remote control receiver or other Marantz stero

ponent

as the ST530
tuner or SD530,
SD630

D430
tape
deck)
equipped
with
an
R.C.
terminal
using
the orange
remote control bus cable.
