Recording Video Clips

The movie mode allows you to record video clips in Motion JPEG AVI format at the resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
Turn the camera on by sliding the [POWER] switch.
Turn the mode dial to the [
The recordable movie time is displayed on the status LCD and the
LCD monitor.
You can start recording a video clip by pressing the
shutter button down fully.
The elapsed time is displayed on the LCD monitor while the recording
starts.
To stop recording, press the shutter button again.
IMPORTANT
• When recording the video clip, the AVI file and THM file are automatically generated, which are
necessary for playing the video clip back. Be careful not to delete these 2 files by mistake.
• When transferring the video clips to your computer, the AVI file and THM file will exist in the same folder.
NOTE
• The maximum recordable movie time is 15 seconds.
• The zoom function cannot be activated while playing the video clip back.
• In movie mode, resolution/quality, macro, self-timer, and digital room cannot be set or activated.
• In movie mode, the flash mode is automatically set to [OFF].
