Before using the extractor - 3283 A- ensure that the thrust piece
-1- is inserted.
– Attach the extractor - 3283 A oder MP6-425 (3283)- -1- to the
wheel hub using two wheel screws.
Therefore, the following order must be observed.
– Tighten the knurled nut -1- by hand.

– Turn the screw -2- and press out the drive shaft from the wheel
hub.
– Remove the drive shaft.
Installing
Note
Remove possible corrosion and grease residue from the thread
and from the serration of the outer joint as well as from the ser‐
ration of the wheel-bearing housing.
– Grease the serration on the propeller shaft with polycarbamide
grease - G 052 142 A2- .
Do not grease thread on the outer joint of the drive shaft.
– Grease the serration in the wheel hub with polycarbamide
grease - G 052 142 A2- .
– Insert the drive shaft into the serration of the wheel-bearing
housing.
