Connecting your Center Channel:
Referencing figure 3 below, the center channel is a passive speaker and audio connections are made via the
input terminal cup either using a banana style of plug or simply unscrewing the metal hex nut connector and
placing the wire into the hole in the shaft then retighten the connection. Connect the other end of the
speaker wire to your receiver / amplifier "CENTER" channel output connections, please see Figure 3,
example shown below.
Note: Before attempting to connect speaker cables to your receiver or amplifier, it is also advised that you
decrease the volume of the device down to the lowest setting that you intend to use to power your speakers
and then turn the device off. Make sure to connect the (-) speaker terminal on each speaker to the (-)
receiver or amplifier terminal that will serve as your sound source.
Use only a high-quality grade of speaker wires to the center channel input terminal connections and your
receiver / amplifier.
An improper center channel connection could cause the speakers to be out of phase, which would degrade
the overall sound, but will not harm the speaker or receiver/amplifier.
