| Inputting the playback program
1. With the player in the stop mode, press PRO-
GRAM button @).
Use disc select button '1 to designate which disc
is to be played back.
Use TRACK SEARCH button (@ to select the num-
ber of the first track to bé played back.
Press PROGRAM button @).
Repeat steps 2—4 for the remaining tracks you
wish to play back.
® Up to 24 tracks (steps) can be programmed.
When PLAY button " is pressed, the selected
tracks will be played back in the order in which
they were input.

When the number buttons are used (PD-T505):
1. With the player in the stop mode, press PGM but-
ton @i).
2. Use disc select button © to designate which disc
is to be piayed back.
3. Use the number buttons to select the numbers of
the desired tracks, in the order you want playback
to proceed.
4. Repeat steps 2—3 for the remaining tracks you
wish to play back.
® Up to 24 tracks (steps) can be programmed.
5. When PLAY button (2 is pressed, the selected
tracks will be played back in the order in which
they were input.
NOTE:
Pressing the PGM button @i) during normal playback and entering
@ program will automatically start the program after the
playing track ends. Also, if the PLAY button 'i4) i
playback, the program will start immediately.

When programming tracks, a pause can be programmed i desired
in place of a disc track. When PAUSE button i} is done, VPA' will
be displayed in place of a track number.
How to use the pause program function:
When recording both sides of a cassette tape, program PAUSE but.
ton @ at the end of the iast track to be recorded on side A of the
tape; in this way, playback will be automatically interrupted, thus
allowing you to turn the cassette tape over before resuming
recording.
NOTE:
® A pause cannot be programmed as the first step {O1) of a pro-
gram, nor can it be programmed twice in succession.
® /fa pause is programmed as the last step of a program, the player
wiff not enter the pause meade.
