| Press the POWER key to ON.

2 Set the INPUT SELECTOR to select the source
to be played.

The source name characters appear on the dis-
play in the cycle as shown above.
® Do not set the INPUT SELECTOR knob in the mid position
between click positions.
To mute the sound temporarily
Press the MUTE key on the remote control unit.

@ The indicator on the VOLUME CONTROL knob on the front
panel blinks.
@ Pressing the key again resumes the previous volume.

Function of the LOUDNESS key
While dynamic sound can be experienced at high volume levels,
music may become flat with poor bass when the volume is set
low.
To compensate for this, press the LOUDNESS key when the VOL-
UME CONTROL is set to a low level. The bass will be boosted
making the sound richer and fuller.

other than cassette deck 2, be sure to set the TAPE 2 key to OFF.
tuner is automatically selected when the power is supplied.
