This TV has three c olor projection tubes: one forred, green, and blue. When m ixed together
inthe proper portions, the output ofthese t hree c olor tubes can produce any color. Toproduce
these c olors, however, the beams must beprecisely aligned over each o ther sothat t he colors
can bemixed. The produce ofaligning these p icture beams iscalled
"convergence".
Attention:
• Please have your TV on for at least 20 minutes before using this feature.
• This adjustment will be needed only when the colors of the characters/lines are separated
and lack in distinction. If not, please don_t perform the adjustment.
Colors may become separated after the TV has been moved, or
over a long period of time if regularly subjected to low levels of
vibrations. If the colors become separated, please perform the
adjustments below again. In the beginning, please be sure to
perform AUTO convergence adjustment.

When the adjustment is finished, it will return to what you
were watching.

• You can reset the adjustment if you do not like the results. See the next page.
• If you want to adjust it more, you can perform the manual color convergence adjustment.

• You can also access this feature by pressing the SUPER Focus button on the front panel of
your TV.
