When aviewer attempts towatch aguarded channel, the following message appears:
To watch achannel that y ou have l ocked, enter the
Lock C ode u sing t he!0key pad.
Ifthe wrong c ode i sentered, the message
"INVALID LOCK CODE!" will f lash o nthe screen.
The channel cannot beaccessed until the correct code
isentered.
Notes:
• Once a channel has been u nlocked, itwill r emain unlocked until the television isturned off.

You can customize the V-Chip settings of your television to match your personal tastes. The
V-Chip menu below is the starting point for your V-Chip settings
You can use US V-Chip settings and movie ratings. You may use any or all of the settings (US
V-Chip and Movie ratings). Descriptions for setting each of the three V-Chip formats appear in
the next five pages along with descriptions of the rating categories.
