Section 4: Operation

Operating the Manual Gas Console (MGC)

The Manual Gas Console (MGC) is the interface to the entire Spirit II system. It
includes a display to access all settings as well as the adjustment regulator knobs used
to manually adjust the gas pressures necessary for cutting and marking.
OFF Button
Push in to disable the Spirit II
system. Release (turn to the right)
to enable the system.

Section 4: Operation with Manual Gas Console
Display
The display turns on automatically
when AC power is applied to the
Spirit II system. It displays the
menu tree, which is navigated
using the Up/Down/Select buttons.
Up/Down/Select Buttons
Press the up  or down  button
to move the pointer ( )
accordingly on the display.
Press the select  button to
access menu items or settings
identified by the pointer.
Pressure Regulator Knobs
Turn to the left or right to adjust the
amount of output gas pressure for:

= PreFlow Gas
= PostFlow Gas
= Plasma Gas
= Shield Gas
