Before you start using it

  • It should only be used as described within these instructions.
  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
  • The product is not to be used for medical purpose or public information, but is only intended for home use


Risk of injury:

  • Keep this instrument and its battery out of the reach of children.
  • Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, shortcircuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
  • Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by a leaking.
  • Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.

Getting started

  • Remove the protective foil from the display.
  • Open the battery compartment (see marking) and remove the insulation strip.
  • Close the battery compartment again.
  • All LCD segments will light up for about a few seconds.
  • The instrument is ready for use.
  • The upper display shows the indoor temperature.
  • The lower display shows the indoor humidity.

Temperature indication

  • Slide the °C/°F switch at the backside to change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.

Maximum and minimum values

  • Press MAX/MIN button.
  • MAX appears on the display.
  • The highest indoor temperature and humidity are displayed since the last reset.
  • Press the button again.
  • MIN appears on the display.
  • The lowest indoor temperature and humidity are displayed since the last reset.
  • To go back to the present values, press the button once more. The instrument will automatically quit the MAX/MIN mode if no button is pressed.
  • Press RESET button while the highest or lowest temperature and humidity are displayed to clear the recorded values.
  • --.- °C and --.- % appear on the display.

Installation

  • The thermo-hygrometer can be mounted on a wall with a nail or a screw or use the fold-out stand.
  • Avoid radiators and direct sunshine.

Care and maintenance

  • Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
  • Remove the battery if you do not use it for a long period of time.
  • Keep the instrument in a dry place.

Battery Replacement

  • Change the battery when the battery symbol appears on the display.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
No display ➜ Ensure that the battery polarity is correct
➜ Change the battery
Incorrect display ➜ Change the battery

If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you purchased it.

Waste disposal
