WARNING! Be aware that the battery charger case may become hot during charging.
Avoid skin contact and do not place on surfaces that may be affected by the heat.
WARNING! Do not attempt to operate your vehicle with depleted batteries, as you may
become stranded.
WARNING! Battery chargers are not suitable to be used by children.
WARNING! If your battery charger has not been tested and approved for outdoor use,
then do not expose it to adverse or extreme weather conditions. If the battery charger
is exposed to adverse or extreme weather conditions, then it must be allowed to adjust
to the difference in environmental conditions before use indoors. Refer to the manual
supplied with the battery charger for more information.
Follow the 10 easy steps in fi gure 10 to charge your batteries safely:

WARNING! The LED lights on the charger indicate different charger conditions at various times.
If the LED does not indicate that charging is complete within 24 hours, unplug the charger
from the outlet and contact your Provider. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with the
charger for a complete explanation of these indicators.
NOTE: There is a charger inhibit function on your vehicle. The vehicle will not run and the battery condition
meter will not operate while the batteries are charging (when the battery pack is being charged on the vehicle).
NOTE: Ensure that the battery disconnect switch is in the "on" position (-) prior to charging your vehicle's battery.
The battery will NOT charge if the battery disconnect switch is in the "off " position (O). See fi gures 4 and 9.
In the event of an electrical issue or a thermal event, the battery power can be quickly disconnected so that the
batteries can be removed from the vehicle and isolated for transport for service.
WARNING! When faced with an emergency situation, the batteries can be quickly disconnected by
moving the battery disconnect switch to the "off" position (O). Use caution. Be advised that turning
off power to the vehicle may cause the vehicle to stop abruptly. To release the emergency stop and
restore driving capability to vehicle, move the battery disconnect switch to the "on" position (-). See
fi gures 4 and 9.
