Unlock the spring-loaded battery latch
remove the battery pack in the direction shown by the arrow
When installing: Install the battery pack in the slot. Make sure that the battery latches are in the locked
position.

For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Battery pack" on page 43
Removal steps of bottom slot cover
Remove the screws 1 , and then remove the cover
