Possible cause
Battery is flat or inserted
incorrectly
Lock mode is activated
Transmitter and receiver are not
on the same channel
Transmitter is out of range
Transmitter's sensitivity is set
too high
Receiver's output level is set
too low
Transmitter's sensitivity is set
too low
Receiver's output level is set
too high
Possible solution
Replace the battery or check if it
is inserted correctly
Deactivate the lock mode
(see page 12)
Set transmitter and receiver to
the same channel
Check the squelch threshold
setting on the receiver or reduce
the distance between receiving
antenna and transmitter
