Remove the guide bar cover.
WARNING: Always hold the product
with the right hand on the rear handle
and the left hand on the front handle.

Loosen the bar mounting nut.

Start the product. Pull the chain brake
away from the bar. Pull the trigger
release. Squeeze the switch trigger.

4-5.5 mm
Adjust the chain tension until the gap
between the drive teeth and bar is
between 4 and 5.5 mm. To increase the
chain tension, turn the chain tensioning
nut clockwise. To reduce the chain
tension, turn the chain tensioning
screw counterclockwise.
NOTE: Frequently check the chain
tension while turning the chain
tensioning screw.

NOTE: Push the chain brake towards
the bar and release the switch trigger
to stop the product.
