Onboard Fan Header
Two 4-pin fan headers (FAN1/FAN2) are located on the motherboard to provide CPU/system
cooling. These fan headers support both 3-pin fans and 4-pin fans; however, onboard fan
speed control is available only when all 4-pin fans are used in the motherboard. Onboard
fan speeds are controlled by thermal management via the BMC (or by IPMI) See the table
below for pin definitions.
