C ommon Interface (CI) is an interface for

DVB receivers.
E ncrypted channels can only be viewed

with a CA module suitable for the encryp-
tion system and in conjunction with the
c orresponding smart card.
T he television set is equipped with a Com-

mon Interface slot into which CI modules
from various providers can be inserted.
Y ou can insert the provider's smart card into
7
the CA module in order to enable the en-
crypted channels you wish to view.
