Changing the Engine Oil and Oil
Filter
Service Interval: After the first 5 hours/After the
first month (whichever comes
first)—Change the engine oil and
filter.
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first)—Change the engine oil and oil filter (more
often in dirty or dusty conditions).
1. Park the machine on a level surface to ensure
that the oil drains completely.
2. Disengage the blade-control switch (PTO) and
engage the parking brake.
3. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
4. Drain the oil from the engine.
