Locking your CLIÉ handheld with a password (Data protection)

Rotate the Jog Dial™ navigator to select Security and press
the Jog Dial™ navigator, on the Application Launcher
screen.
The Security screen is displayed.
Tip
You can also tap the Security icon to display the Security screen.

Follow "Assigning a password" on page 178 to assign a
password.

Tap Lock & Turn OFF.
The System Lockout screen is displayed.

Tap Off & Lock.
Your CLIÉ handheld turns off and locks.
To start your CLIÉ handheld, you must enter the correct password.
Note
When entering your password after having once turned off your CLIÉ handheld
before, enter it using the hardware keyboard.
You cannot enter the password using the on-screen keyboard or Graffiti.
