Notes:
1. Parts with mark (※) are not available on request, and they should be equipped by the
customer.
2. The following precautionary plate is attached to the cover. Keep it in mind when you carry out
wiring work as specified in 1-5 (9).
(1) Although the terminal box of the compressor provides protection against the ingress of solid
foreign objects and water, do not install the compressor outdoors and in a place where
water-drops from the circumferences are poured on to the compressor.
(2) The protection against the ingress of solid foreign objects and water at the terminal box is
attained by sealing the hole (φ20.5) on the box. Be sure to seal the holes with cable glands
and/or blind plugs of IP65 or more.
(3) The temperature of the bottom of the terminal box becomes equivalent to the discharge gas
temperature after start-up. Power lines, earthing cables, and cable glands should have heat
resistance that is higher than discharge gas temperature.
(4) Connect the terminal plug of the power supply to the crimped terminal of the power line so
that the terminal plug and the screw do not stick out from the grooves of the connector block.
The tightening torque of the power supply terminal screw should be 2.4 - 2.8N・m.
(5) Do not connect two or more crimped terminals of the power lines to U, V and W of the
connector block. If connected, it will cause poor contact.
(6) Connect the earthing cable to the earthing terminal screw in the terminal box. The tightening
torque of the earthing terminal screw should be 2.4 - 2.8N・m.
